It's cooking Time...

The Scientist group gathered for lunch bunch to play and decide upon what activities they wanted for our shared lunch bunch gatherings. During quiet peace time, there was coloring, lego building, and restaurant play. A couple of friends were busy developing menus for their restaurant.
The children elected to work with clay for Tuesday, but wanted to "cook".
The recipes included: " challah, pumpkin muffins, cherry muffins, pumpkin pie, fruit salad consisting of strawberries, blueberries, mango juice, and raisins", and smoothies to which we needed yogurt, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and bananas." One friend said they wanted "lettuce" too., so friends said "we can have a vegetable salad as well. We need " lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, croutons, tomatoes, and peppers ( but not "hot" peppers). Friends were very excited about the Smoothies so that will be our "first" dish.
Great ideas......

  1. I love that the kids will be cooking. Noah especially likes to create new and interesting smoothies. Please keep in mind he is allergic to mango. It is a weird one I know.
