A few of our favorite things...

In the Scientist class we are avid readers. The teachers switch out the books on our bookshelf at least once a week, and there are a few books that kids tend to gravitate towards. This week, both of these books have been read at least six times!

Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr.Seuss is a fantastic rhyming book that has been a major hit. I brought it down at first because it's one of my favorite books, and it seems to have quickly become a favorite with our Scientists as well. I also thought it was pretty appropriate as our Scientists are on the verge of kindergarten!

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has been requested at least 10 times this week. If you haven't read it, it's about a boy who is having a terrible day and is planning to move to Australia to get away from his bad day. Our Scientists have heard it so many times they are starting to finish the pages for me from memory!

I love seeing our students connecting to books and asking to read with a teacher or picking the books up for themselves!

Shabbat Shalom!
