Our Visit to the Newbridge Center

Our visit to the Newbridge on the Charles facility was very successful, so successful that we are considering doing it again sometime before the school year ends.

We managed to raise many smiles on the faces of the local members.
Special thanks to our helpers who helped us fulfill our biggest Mitzvah ever.

Thanks also to the parents who contributed all the goodies in those baskets and thanks to our children who worked so hard to bake, sing and deliver.
THANK YOU!
Check out more photos from a wonderful day

  1. What a wonderful activity! I took my boys, Noah and Eli, to Newbridge for an event the previous Sunday. We brought bags of homeade hamantaschen with us to share. we had a lot of fun and the seniors did too. I hope to see us doing more with Newbridge in the coming months.

  2. Rachel really enjoyed doing this. She was still talking about it today (although she told me that we brought food to people who didnt have any food and were very hungry). But at least she got the concept of helping others.

  3. Sarah~ We also prepared tuna casserole for Rosie's Place on Monday and we mentioned that we were making it for those who are hungry and don't have enough food. Great job remembering those less fortunate Rachel. I loved the experience and look forward to more participation with Newbridge Center as well.

  4. Just to let you know that she is totally right. The morning before we went to Newbridge, we cooked a tuna casserole for Rossie's place and yes we did talk about making dinner for people who don't have food to eat. At the end of that day we delivered our Mishloach Manot and did two Mitzvot in one day.

  5. It was a day that meant so much to not only Jake but me. It opened my eyes up a lot and look forward to doing more of this kind of stuff in the future. The kids actually really like it.
