After lunch Sam P and Jay spent some time drawing and then dictating Drama Stories. They both were exited about acting out their stories with their friends, later this week.
When "peace out time" was over, we carried out a few experiments. The first was Make Salt Water. We stirred the salt in the water and discussed our observations(the salt dissolved). The second experiment Making Raisins Dance was everyones favorite! We filled a glass half-way with seltzer. Quickly put five or six raisins in the glass, one at a time. Soon we were supposed to see the raisins move up and down, flip, and fall in the water. We waited and waited for the raisins to dance. I asked the children if they had any ideas as to how we could get the raisins to dance. Sandy suggested we give it some more time. Issac thought we should place two rocks in the cup and then maybe, the raisins would start to move around. Now these All Stars are really starting to think like real scientists!
