Today the Tel Aviv All Stars had a great time tie dying t-shirts for the end of the year celebration! First we rapped rubber bands around our shirt, then we put on a smock and squeezed blue dye all over the shirt. Tomorrow we will rinse our own shirt, and hang it up to dry. At least now you know why your child's hands are blue! Don't worry the blue dye will come off in the bath.
I was hoping she would stay blue and we could re-enact blue man group! As I said in another comment, I think it's so cool that the kids are being trusted with the responsibility to tie dye their own shirts. It's pretty empowering. And Mia seems appeased that she was able to add a splash of pink to her shirt. It'll give it that real Mia flare! (I do NOT know where she got her love of pink!)
