A new panda bear????

Today we got some good news. The Panda bear that we adopted from the National Zoo in Washington, DC may be pregnant. In this picture I am showing the children the news on the web site of the National Zoo. We are crossing our fingers that our adoption may have helped bring a new panda bear into the world. Since there is still a question about whether the female is actually pregnant, and if she is pregnant the "baby" won't be born until after school ends, you can folllow the story along on the web site of the National Zoo. Note especially the pictures of the former baby panda that was born at the zoo. The children were fascinated by how small a new born panda can be. It is fun to have the use of a computer in the classroom to enhance the curriculum.
