The Scientists came into the classroom this week and found puzzles galore! Puzzles haven't been a very popular activity in class, namely because the Magna-tiles are much flashier. But with the help of a new location [doing puzzles on a table as opposed to on the floor], puzzles have made a comeback!
Lucas, Alex, Jeffrey, and Jonathan have worked very hard on a variety of puzzles. They have developed a great network of teamwork, allowing one another to try different locations, or seeing if individual projects can fit together.
One of their favorite things to do is to finish a puzzle, and then use the magnifying glasses to find secret things hidden in the puzzle. The first puzzle that we put out, the fish and coral scene, had hidden animals within the picture. Since then, they have been trying to find hidden things in each of the subsequent puzzles!
We ran out of time to finish the puzzle we were working on today, so we left it out to finish tomorrow!
