Zack's sister, Jackie came to the Unicorn class and read two books Zack selected: Little Pea by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and P.J. Time by Sandra Boyton. In the Little Pea, the illustrations were very simple but full of expression and the story line had us laughing. Imagine having to eat a different colored candy every day of the week for dinner!!! Little pea HATES eating candy for dinner but his parents tell her she can't have his spinach dessert until his plate is clean!!! Yea right. What a fun way to introduce the days of the week and colors, within a funny crazy story line. P.J. time is a fun rhyming book which is equally enjoyable with great illustrations as well. It's getting late, let's get ready to celebrate!!!Thank you Jackie for for reading to us and thank you Zack for selecting these books to share with your Unicorn classmates!!! As one can see Zack really enjoyed these books too.
