It was fascinating to watch these three and four year olds listen to this story. They sat entranced, listening to the tale as Fox encountered animal after animal. The illustrations in this book are something truly special and when asked, the children tried to figure out how they were made. They had so many ideas! Was it paint? Was it marker? No, it was something different. We looked and looked. "It's playdough!" Josh said. Yes, indeed. Barbara Reid created these amazing illustrations from colored plasticine.
