Where is baby Moses? In the river Nile!

We have been spending lots of time this week learning all about the story of Passover, and creating special activities in our classroom to remind us of the story and to celebrate the holiday.

We painted a blue river and waited for it to dry.   Then we transferred our dry painted river to the rug, and we have been sending baskets of baby Moseses down the river,  singing, "Where is baby Moses, Moses, Moses?  Where is baby Moses?  In the river Nile!  He's floating in a basket, basket, basket.  He's floating in a basket...in the River Nile!"

  1. I appreciate these blog posts so much! Not only is it wonderful to hear and see what they do each day but I also love being able to talk to Avi about what he did and what is going on in the pictures. It was a true joy to be able to talk to Avi about what he had learned about the Passover story and ask him questions based on what I could see and read in the blog. Thank you!
