Where are you driving today?

Sammy C. was the shabbat helper and shared a lovely challah with the class on Thursday. We all look forward to being together to celebrate shabbat each week. Everyone seems very excited to be the one to bring the challah from home.

The cars and tricycles are favorites for many of the Rainbows when we head out to play. On Thursday, there was a lot of both cooperative and dramatic play around their riding and driving. Madison and Sam G. negotiated about how much gas was enough for his car's tank. Max was happy pumping some gas for Sammy C. as well. Jared preferred to travel on three wheels.

We discussed our destination and decided together that we would head to the beach. Sam G. wanted to swim. Jared wanted to dig in the sand. Sammy C. was ready for a picnic and served us some sandwiches. So very apropos!
