The children were so proud of their pig drawing. The children followed the step-by-step suggestions shown in the second photo, and a teacher guided the children through the experience of choosing which part to draw next, while creating a pig.

- Body-Draw a circle.
- Ears-Draw two ovals on the top of the pig's head.
- Eyes-Place the eyes so there will be room for the nose of the pig.
- Nose-Draw a wide oval for the nose, and two nostrils in the oval nose.
- Toes- Draw the letter "W" on the bottom of the pig in two places.
- Tail- Make your tail go in any direction, with a short curved line that goes up, down and around.
I was wondering where she learned to draw the pig that we looked at in the post about the 3 Little Pigs puppet show. Now I know! More fantastic ideas from Learning Together with Young Children! It is so cool to see it implemented in my own child's classroom! :)
