Does it look as though these Sunshines are gettting ready to go home or to play outside? Instead, dressing fully for the outdoors was a spontaneous development in their pretend play. The children often plan shopping trips or other excursions, and on this morning decided that they would dress as though they were really going to the store. In addition to being a lot of fun, this seems an indication of the children's growing competence in dressing themselves. What would have seemed a daunting chore a few short months ago can now be accomplished with relative ease, and incorporated into imaginative play.
