The children take turns baking, being the cashier, and being the customer. Some have taken a fancy to particular jobs, but we work together to make sure that everyone who wants a turn gets to have a turn. We worked collaboratively to make a list of rules to allow everyone to have a great cooking and dining experience.
Our Scientists are very generous. If you come in while the Scientist bakery is open, there is a very high chance that someone will come over to take your order; anything you can imagine! You will also most likely be offered a variety of fruits, vegetables, cupcakes, pizza, and ice cream for your dining pleasure.
The last thing left to do? Create a name for our new play space! Thank you so much Ellen for creating this awesome and new favorite spot in our classroom.

I would suggest keeping the Tel Aviv All Stars out- they like to put BABIES in the oven. :) Any chance we could serve some real baked goods...then I would certainly come for a visit. :) Can't wait to hear the name of your brand new establishment!
ReplyDeleteI heard the "cashier" was the most popular role.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to hearing the name too! I think the Scientists should turn this into a real bakery and serve some fruit cups to the other classes!
The Unicorns would welcome some delicious fruits, smoothies, or other nutritious treats. Miss Smadar has some great recipes (: !!! We know the Scientist have some great recipes as well.
ReplyDeleteNoah could not wait to get to school on Monday to see this new bakery. Ellen has tipped him off at Sunday's concert. It is his new favorite thing to do in the Scientist room.
