Our plan is to arrive in time to celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut/Israel Independence Day in Israel! The children are very excited about the trip and keep asking to make sure that it's "only pretend, right?" They have been busy making passports and constructing a means of transportation. As of today, the cockpit and wings have been made out of boxes, and the yellow strips of paper on the right are the colorful sides of the airplane. It could be completely different tomorrow! We all had fun brainstorming what we wanted to do in Israel, and what was fun when some of the children were there in previous years. Most of the children made some comment about food! Today Aaron really enjoyed writing his name, address, and birthdate on his passport. Every child was actively engaged in some part of this fun process. We'll be sure to keep you up-to-date on our activities.
Shalom!
Have a great trip!
