While we were in the community room Dylan enthusiastically pointed out that there was a mezuzah on one of the doors! The children rushed to see it. We noticed that it had a gold Shin, which is now a letter that most of the Tel Aviv students recognize. They also saw that it had a special scroll behind the pretty piece of glass. The students liked touching the glass and seeing the swirly colors in it. Many of them said they also used blue and green in their mezuzot that they made in the classroom. It’s so great to see how the enthusiasm surrounding mezuzot has grown throughout the week. We are so excited to share it with our friends and family this Friday at our Shabbat Shindig!
Hannah has loved making her mezuzah...and showing me each morning the new colors she's added! She was delighted to find out that we have them in our house, too!!
