The Gift of a Rainy Day

Sometimes a rainy day at school is a lot like a rainy day at home. It's a time to get involved in projects, to connect with the people around you, to relax and be in the moment. Today those moments included taking care of our babies, beading necklaces, making our own fruit parfait snacks, making sukkah decorations with glitter (is there anything more fun than glitter?), nail painting, and getting cozy on the couch reading books. Bonding as a class takes place through shared experiences and time spent together. Today our bounty of time allowed us to explore our classroom through our connections with each other. It was a lovely day.
