A picture of pure concentration

Joshua was very focused while drawing his self-portrait today. He carefully selected pencils and chalk that matched the color of his face. All the children liked working with our many skin tone colored pencils and chalk. Having the mirror right there encouraged the children to stay on task and draw their face as they saw it. It was very interesting to observe how each child approached the task and how serious the children were in their execution of the drawings.
