Something was new in the Haifa class room today...sunflowers!! We thought it would be fun to focus the artwork at the easel by having the students paint what they see. Silly me, I told the students to paint the flowers. Drew was the first one hit with the artistic bug, so Sauci helped him put his smock on, and let him do his thing. She walked over about five minutes later to find that there was no painting on the easel paper. Turns out, he did exactly what I said! He painted the flowers!
Alli and Eli worked together in their painting of the flowers on the paper. Eli figured out how to paint the flowers first, and then helped Alli. "First you paint the stem. Then you paint the sun!" Such great cooperation among friends!!

At least he followed your directions! Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteToo funny. Ali and I just watched an OLD MUPPET SHOW where that is exactly what ANIMAL did upon instruction - (see minute 1:50 of the video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vJN2e8k7WY
