Friday October 14th was Oliver's REAL birth day but we celebrated his school birthday on Monday October 17th. We greeted one another passing birthday candle with '5' candles and had a fun day. Heidi, Oliver's mom, read three books. It was fun to read about the dog who went to the veterinarian to get his "shot". ( An anxiety time for children) Oliver selected all the books for reading to his Kohavim friends. " It's Hard to be Five ( By Jamie Lee Curtis) It is a nice reminder that BIG changes are here when we turn 5!!! My mind tells me one thing, my mouth another, my body is my car and I am licensed to steer, sitting still?? We will all get there, not to worry. and The Secret Birthday by Eric Carle. Oliver's mailbox was filled with birthday messages from his friends and beaded jewelry from his friends. Oliver's favorite part of his school birthday was his mom coming in to read some of his favorite books. Thank you Oliver for sharing mom and Heidi for sharing your day with us!!!
