The Levana class had a Sukkot adventure today, as we walked a short distance to visit the lovely sukkah at the Markleys' home. The children admired the beautiful decorations, including pumpkins, gourds and cornstalk dolls, and viewed the sky through the lattice roof. Because we have spent time in our TBS sukkah and in our own classroom sukkah, the children are familiar with sukkot, and thrilled to find one in the nearby home of a friend. Adam was a gracious host, pointing the way and inviting us to have a turn on his outdoor play equipment. Thanks for the suggestion, Michele!

I'm so glad you made this happen! What a great experience for the children to be able to the different sukkot in our community.
ReplyDeleteSo thrilled you were able to come visit! Sorry that Snickers likely barked at you the whole time! Hope you didn't get too lost on your way! You are welcome any time, Levana class! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Markley Family sharing your sukkah with the kids!
