Happy Birthday Jacob aka "Captain America"

As is our tradition in the Kohavim classroom, we invited Jacob's family, to come share in Jacob's birthday celebration in the classroom. Ira, Jacob's dad read two books  Snowman and a a couple of poems from Jacob's favorite book, A Light in the Attic, by Shel Silverstein. The poem was called " The Meehoo with an Exactlywatt". Jacob and his classmates giggled with delight with the word play from this poem.. It starts with "knock, knock.. Who's there?~ Me. Me who? That's right. What's right?
Thank you Rebecca and Ira for coming and sharing of your time and talents with the Kohavim class. Thank you Jacob for sharing your mommy and daddy with us.

  2. I love the birthday traditions in the class. It is such a wonderful way to celebrate together. Eli's birthday banner is proudly displayed on the wall of his room. Eli's brother Noah kept his up on his wall for several years. Such special memories being made!
