Between getting coats off and readjusting our route, we quickly became all bunched up. Judi and Rebecca asked everyone to get in a line-something that we don't really do very often. We saw lots of confused looks as the children tried to figure out what we were actually asking of them.
Suddenly, Harper exclaimed "Like a choo choo train"! What an excellent comparison. Rebecca became the engine and Judi became the caboose. The children easily slid between our "cars" and made a perfect line. No one fell off the track and we made it in plenty of time to the community room.
Thank you, Harper, for helping us find the right words today!!
