Baking Apple Cake

The Tuesday All Star lunch bunchers continued the process of putting together the ingredients and baking their apple cake today. They cut up lots and lots of apples and then added them to the other ingredients such as sugar, flour, oil, salt, egg replacer and baking soda. After combing all the ingredients they stirred and stirred and stirred to put the batter together for the cake.
When the batter was ready to go, it was spread out in a large baking pan and put into the oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
The children were amazed to see the different consistency of the cake ingredients as the stirring created a thick apple smelling batter. The All Star bakers took great pride in measuring out the necessary ingredients and pouring them into the mixing bowl.
The apple cake smelled delicious and looked great when it came out of the oven!!
