Aaron , Joshua, and Oliver were busy caring for their babies, readying the family for Shabbat. Aaron searched out hats for the babies, lovingly dressing them, finding them chairs, and arranging them in the house area. This amazing capacity for nurturing that even very young children demonstrate is brought out during doll play. This sort of doll play helps children explore their role as care takers of others. The care, feeding and nurturing that is brought out in doll play is basic human instinct. By encouraging this capacity in young children, we instill the ability to give and care for others, and help raise a more caring adult.
Ah yes, the infamous twin baby brother and baby sister Aaron keeps asking for!
