On our way to have some gross motor fun in the Community Room, several members of the Garden Club asked if we would like to walk through Simon Hall and see all the beautiful flowers. It was hard for the children to believe that every flower they saw was real. There were some amazing specimens. It's so nice when the different parts of the TBSCC community cross paths like this.
Thank you ladies for the invite!
What a cool detour! And some cool relationships to build! Those Garden Clubbers are pretty talented and love to share their amazing gifts! If the Tel Avivers liked these flowers, I bet the kids would love the Flowers in Bloom display that the Garden Club puts on at the library (in the spring?). The Markleys love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI passed by the garden club event today, too and was drawn inside by the beautiful scent. It was amazing to see how differently each arranger had used the materials. What a wonderful connection for the children to make. I am thrilled that the two groups got a chance to meet.
