Learning to Draw

Have you ever had your child see something that you've drawn, want to make it themselves, and then get frustrated that their drawing doesn't look exactly like yours? Believe it or not, this happens a lot at school. And while it's great that students have high ambitions, it can be quite frustrating for them when things don't work out.

Today we were lucky enough to have Ellen come into class with fantastic materials: step by step directions on how to draw animals! These directions were complete with examples of each step, to help our Scientists follow to visual steps to make their own drawings. We will have them available for use in our classroom so that we can practice our independent drawings!
