Tel Aviv Memories!

Today the Tel Aviv All Stars made Hamantashen with Caroline (Josh's Mom), Tracy (Hadley's Mom), our friend Hannah and Rabbi Todd. Tracy and Caroline brought in the dough, the fillings, spoons and the tin foil too. They thought of everything you need to make Hamantashen!
Yesterday Mia asked if her Dad could come in and help. I said, "Of course he can come in and join us!" After Caroline and Tracy arrived, Sam, Mia and I took a walk to find Rabbi Todd to see if he was available to make Hamantashen. Fortunately, he was in his office, and he was free to spend some time in the classroom. Rabbi Todd told us he was going to bring our friend Hannah with him! Needless to say Mia was delighted!

I don't know who had more fun- the children or the parents! The morning flew by and everyone had so much fun! When the Hamantashen came out of the oven, everyone picked out the one they wanted. The rest of the Hamantashen were saved for the Shalach Manot baskets!
We want to send out a very special thanks to the Tracy, Caroline, Rabbi Todd, Hannah and the children for making the delicious Hamantashen and some wonderful memories!

  1. Delicious hamentashen AND delicious children. These guys really delight in everything they do! Thanks for capturing what I thought might have been a story made up by my daughter. I am so glad everyone was able to help with the cooking. Pretty soon, Todd is going to have a lot more responsibility in the kitchen if he keeps this up! :)
