At the water table, Mia asked me to take the cover off of the small pitcher she was filling. After I showed her how to do it, she tried until she figured out how to put it on and take it off. And with every successful attempt, she exclaimed with pride, "I did it!"
Love this story! I noticed a similar pattern with the shofar blowing. Several children who said they couldn't blow it the first time were willing to try again the next day. What persistence these kids have!
