We have noticed over the past few weeks the children's avid interest in and their attention to details of the different shaped magnitiles. We wondered if we could help the children see and learn from each other. Today when the building work came to an end, we we asked the children to take their building one step further by drawing what they created. Using clip boards and pencils/markers the children began to draw. Some of them drew the contruction by looking at it and one child decided to trace the magnitiles. Tomorrow we plan on comparing their strategies for drawing and building as they show their drawings to each other.
