filling hearts

Today at circle, Lizzie sat down with Jaedyn and Aleeza. She looked at Jaedyn and said, "I am glad you are my friend". Aleeza looked up and Lizzie said "You are my friend, too". I smiled at the three of them and Lizzie said "Look at us being friends!"

I responded that it made me so happy to see such friendly behavior and I asked them how it made them feel. Aleeza responded "It makes me so happy. It is filling my heart with so many more hearts!

What a special way to express how they feel. We talk a lot about filling each other's buckets...I am pretty sure they filled each other's buckets (or hearts) this morning and they definitely filled mine!
