Sometimes in the Kohavim class our voices get really loud. Some boys, girls, and teachers feel it is too loud. We introduced a 'voice meter' numbered 1 -10 with 10 being very very loud. Where do we think our voices would be at an at mid range, not to loud, not too soft?? We decided between 4 - 5 would be a good range. Teddy Post, Mia, and Hadley quickly drew their own voice meters. Jesse is holding up Teddy Post's voice meter because he thought the classroom was getting a bit too loud.Thank you Jesse, Mia, Teddy Post, and Hadley. Involving children in the decision making process is an important element of learning and affecting change.
What a great idea and fun activity for the kids...getting them involved in the process probably helps with getting them to police their own volume.
