Cheerio Necklaces

Today in the Keshet class, we made necklaces by stringing cheerios on yarn.  Eva was very interested in this project.  At first she wanted a teacher to help by holding the yarn which Eva would then carefully place the cheerio on the end and string it through.  Eva then decided she was going to try to do the whole thing by herself.  Not only does this activity help with fine motor skills, but it also requires plenty of coordination, focus and patience.
