You may want to ask your children why they searched to the east and searched to west for the kind of tool that would work the best to announce the New Year. Many tools were found and tried. A hammer, wrench, a harp, and a gong. But none was perfect. There was something not quite right about each one of these tools. Why you may ask ?? The perfect announcing tool was found and it was the shofar!
