Tekiah!

The children were offered the chance to try blowing a real shofar today. Wow!  It was so interesting to watch their different approaches.  Children coached each other on the best techniques, and a few of the best blowers were even recruited to coach the teachers.  That was tough and many children tried again and again to get a sound to come out.  Soon the halls rang with the sounds of the approaching new year.  And don't worry, we disinfected the shofar between blowers, of course!
