Today we were swinging without swings. We listened t0 Gene Krupa's band play good swing music. Spontaneously the children started swaying and clapping. "I hear a horn." "I hear drums."The children didn't want me to turn off the CD player. We listened for a long time while we were swinging.
Music is such a phenomenal teaching tool! It's amazing how much they can learn. It sounds like they are already on their way to being experts!
