As teachers, we are often surprised by what toys spark the interest of our students. Today, in the Levana kitchen, an empty cream cheese container appeared. Our student chefs were very excited by the new container, and each wanted a turn using the plastic knives to spread the pretend cream cheese on our plastic challah!
Of course, there was only one container, so the students also practiced patience and taking turns. Ellen said to Samantha L., "Please can I have a turn after?" Samantha was happy to oblige!

...and while all this was happening, Samantha S. discovered the new baby bunk bed in our classroom! She was so happy that the Levana babies now have a new comfortable place to rest! (This discovery was less surprising, perhaps, but we are always happy to see the children enjoying the classroom toys!)
