Our Shabbat Shindig

The Haifa All Stars welcomed their families today for a Shabbat Shindig. During our family time in the classroom, each family designed and created a matzoh plate to go with the matzoh covers we made last week. The plates were created by covering a plastic plate with aluminum foil and then using permanent markers to draw a design on the aluminum foil. The children greatly enjoyed taking part in this activity with their family members and were so excited to welcome everyone into our classroom.

After the matzoh plates were finished, we gathered in a group and talked about the blessings that the children had made at the beginning of the week in honor of Passover and asked family members to add their blessings to the ones that the children had made. It was truly wonderful and amazing to have so many family members attend our shindig and then join our entire TBSCC community for Shabbat services in the sanctuary. The Haifa All Stars would like to wish everyone a very Happy Passover and great vacation week. We look forward to seeing everyone on our return to school on Tues. April 26.
