What kind of charoset did you make?

Despite it being a very rainy Wednesday, our Scientists worked hard on more Passover recipes: this time we made charoset! Naomi was nice enough to bring in her mom Marisa, and with her help we made charoset. We started with chopping and peeling the apples...
...and then used the food processor! Then brown sugar, grape juice, and craisins were added to keep it sweet! We are going to be sharing our charoset with the All Stars tomorrow at our seder.
The other kind of charoset that was made today was more abstract. We drew circles on our paper for a charoset bowl, and then made collages of pom-poms, foam shapes, feathers, and the old favorite: glitter! We are going to put these on display after they dry, so that everyone can enjoy them when they come on Friday for the Shabbat Shindig!!
