Sand Art!

On Monday we talked about how Moses pleaded over and over again with the Pharaoh to free the slaves and let them leave Egypt. Finally Pharaoh told the Israelites, "Go, but hurry." The Israelites packed quickly. They ran out of Egypt across the desert. During our discussion the children had the opportunity to look at a few pictures of Egypt's Valley of the Kings Desert.

During free play in the Art Center we offered "sand art". Everyone came over at some point and created their own piece of "sand art". All the children took their time squeezing and placing the glue on the paper, and then carefully placed the colored sand on the glue. They all were so proud of their sand art!
