Hiding the Afikomen!

The children were asked to find several Afikomen hidden throughout the classroom. It took some time but they found each and everyone of them! Sam had so much fun he decided to make his own set of Afikomen and hide them for his friends to find.

Sam drew about 12 little Afikomen on a sheet of construction paper. He asked me to help him write numbers on them. I had my hands full at the moment so I asked Aden to help him. Aden was more than happy to help Sam. Sam asked Aden "How do you make a 6", Aaron over heard him and said, "Sam make an upside down 9 and that is a 6." Aden asked Sam, "Do you know how to make an 11, it's just two ones together!" Sam said, "Oh ya that is easy!" Sam was so pleased with himself as he wrote the number 11on one of the Afikomen. Aaron and Aden stood by Sam's side as Sam filled up his Afikomen card with numbers. When Sam was done writing, he cut out all the little Afikomen and hide them in the classroom.
