Today was an exciting day at the Unicorn room! For the next two weeks the Unicorns are taking a trip to Israel. First the Unicorns each got a passport which they each signed. Then everyone helped build our own airplane to fly in. We made our own flags to decorate the El Al airplane before take off, and we were ready to go!
Everyone took their seats and we all sang songs as we took off on our journey. As the children got on board, everyone had their passports stamped to begin our vacation. Once we took off, the flight attendants served everyone snacks and popsicles for the flight. Zack, who just came back from Israel this year, said that he saw a movie on his flight. During the second half of the flight tomorrow, we are bringing a Hebrew movie to watch. Yes, it is a long way to Israel, but all the Unicorns are good passengers and are looking forward to arriving in time for Shabbat on Friday!
During our stay in Israel we plan to visit the desert in in the south and then travel to Jerusalem and finally to the beach in Tel Aviv. On Thursday, make sure that your traveller brings their bathing suits, towels, sun glasses and beach wear. We will have a sandy beach in the room for everyone to play with.
