Today in our morning circle I read the story of Passover from "The All Star Scientist Passover Haggadah". When I read the part that says "It took lots of patients. It took lots of work. At last the Pharaoh said yes, take your people now and go!"
I asked the children what would they pack on their long journey to the promised land?
Mia-"All my stuffed animals."
Hadley-"Everything and my stuffed animals too."
Isaiah-"Food, clothes, all my summer stuff, because it is hot in the desert."
Eric-"Everything!"
Ruby-"My blankie, bouncy balls and toys."
Sam-"All my stuffed animals, bears, and bunny."
Aden-"All things I already have."
Teddy Post-"A bed and a blanket."
Teddy Fox-"Toys!"
Aaron-"Most of my toys."
Josh-"My things that are important."
Great choices, but I'm wondering which toys Aaron would leave behind.
