We've learned that Miriam, older sister of Moses and a prophet in her own right, was so certain that the Jews would be successful in their flight from Pharoah that she brought her tambourine with her to celebrate the victory. On Wednesday the Sunshines made tambourines from paper plates, beans and our own decorations, and we danced and sang in the spirit of Miriam. We all enjoyed Hannah's creative use of a dilapidated tambourine from our box of musical instruments. Thursday, April 7, 2011

We've learned that Miriam, older sister of Moses and a prophet in her own right, was so certain that the Jews would be successful in their flight from Pharoah that she brought her tambourine with her to celebrate the victory.
