Yesterday we visited the fire department across the street. We were met by two Needham fire fighters. They gave everyone their very own fire hat. They showed us the inside of the fire truck and let the children sit inside the truck. We went inside the fire station and saw the hook and ladder truck. Then firefighter Darryl showed us the fire pole and how he slides down the pole when the fire alarm goes off. Daniel wants me to say that this picture was taken at the fire station pole.We had a very fun trip to the fire station. The Haifa children wrote a nice thank you note to the firefighters.
