Today several of the children helped to make our own finger paint. We mixed Ivory snow and water with a portable mixer. We beat it until we reached the desired consistency, adding more water and ivory snow as needed. The grains of the ivory snow don't totally dissolve and that makes for a fun texture in the paint. The children wanted to know what Ivory
Snow is. We told them that their parents used ivory snow to wash their clothes when they were babies. Alli said her mother didn't do that because her mother doesn't know what ivory snow is. When asked if it is possible for her mother to know something that Alli doesn't know, Alli said, "No. I know everything my mother knows." So, if Alli never heard of Ivory Snow Lisa can't possibly know what it is. How's that for terrific self confidence?
Still laughing out loud! So so funny...
