The Endless Possibilities Of Creating A Collage
There are endless possibilities when doing a collage. You can use all types of materials from hard to soft, round, or square. The Rainbow children made collages using materials that were soft, squishy, fluffy, and smooth. They explored different textures such as soft feathers, different kinds of rubber shapes, and smooth square alphabet letters. The kids had different ways of gluing: They used Q-tips to glue their shapes to the paper. Some kids wanted to glue the Q-tip onto the paper as a piece of art while others only wanted to put glue on their paper with no shapes. Some kids stuck a lot of shapes together in one big pile and others were very deliberate in where they placed the shapes. Some of the kids tried to blow the feathers onto the glue to make them stick. In the end each kid had a unique collage to call his or her own!
