sharing!

Today, Jaedyn and Sydni came to school with four very large toys from home - two Buzz Lightyears, a Woody and a Jessie doll. When the toys first arrived in the classroom, we were hesitant to have them taken out. Sometimes it is hard to share the communal toys in the classroom, never mind a toy that is actually "mine". However, we reminded the girls that if they were taken out, they needed to be shared.

Well...what a great job they did! The toys came in and out of the bag all morning and both Jaedyn and Sydni willingly shared all four - Jaedyn even suggested that another child bring the toys home to his house for a few days (we reasoned that this was very kind, but not necessary). It is always challenging when toys come to school from home - we want personal property to be safe and properly cared for - however, we were very proud of how all of the Sunshine children shared today!
