Teachers in the Making

Lunch bunch boys and girls enjoy our 'teacher' games. In this game, we have a 'teacher' and her/his class. The teacher ( person w/ the headband, and illustration has to 'guess' the word by 'listening' to the clues given by her/his classmates. It amazes me to be a bystander and listen to the clues given. This game extend thinking skills, listening skills, expressive skills, and leadership skills, literacy, and is a lot of fun.

Here are some clues given from today: Pls don't expect to find the picture in the blog. You will need to guess?

~ "Something hot, you roast marshmellows, something you cook on..." What is it??

~ "It starts with an "M", sweep the floor with it, has a fuzzy bottom, has a long stick... What is it??

~ " It is a pet, it's an animal, it has hair all over it, it has wiskers, it can be in your house... What is it???
( pls note I left the give all clue out that was given)

~ "It has a railing and you walk up and down it".... What is it??

~ "It has a short tail, compared to a mouse, loves cheese".... What is it???

Have fun guessing !!!

  1. What an awesome game! Figuring out the clues is one thing, but coming up with a way to describe an object so that someone else can guess it involves an entirely different set of thinking skills. I've been impressed to watch how good these children are getting at playing this game. And what cool materials- love the headband idea!
