Yesterday the Unicorns had another chance to be "explorers" in the woods. We continue to be fascinated by trees, owls, and, more recently, nests. After much discussion around what birds might use to build a nest, we set out to collect items we might want to include in our nests.
We're getting very skilled at climbing down the "mountain!"
Everyone had their own ideas on how they wanted their nests to look. We mixed together some flour, salt and water to hold our nests together as our original idea for using mud had to be put on hold due to snow!
Max built an Owl Swing nest. The owls can rest on a branch and then be flipped up into the air!
